Description
Topical pleuromutilin antibiotic
Used for treatment of impetigo due to methicillin-susceptible S. aureus and S. pyogenes
Safety in patients younger than 9 months not established
Indications
Indicated for impetigo caused by MSSA or Streptococcus pyogenes

Not for oral, intranasal, ophthalmic or intravaginal use; efficacy and safety for mucosal surfaces not established
