Topical antifungal agent; structurally similar to the allylamines (e.g., naftifine and terbinafine); active against a variety of superficial dermatophytes responsible for causing tinea pedis, tinea corporis, and tinea cruris.

Indicated for the topical treatment of tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea versicolor due to susceptible organisms such as Epidermophyton floccosumTrichophyton mentagrophytesTrichophyton rubrumTrichophyton tonsurans, or Malassezia furfur.
 
For the topical treatment of interdigital tinea pedis due to susceptible organisms such as Epidermophyton floccosumTrichophyton mentagrophytesTrichophyton rubrumTrichophyton tonsurans, or Malassezia furfur.
